Tulane Hoops Crushes Chicago St with Anthony Davis in the House

Tulane men's hoops picked up its third victory of the season in a 79-51 beatdown against Chicago St. While the Green Wave (as the case has been so far this year) struggled to get momentum early on, the team otherwise controlled the Sunday afternoon game.

Anthony Davis made an appearance at the new Devlin Fieldhouse (see picture) to support his cousin, who is a member of Chicago State's squad. He's the extremely tall guy, third from the left...

Not a lot to say about this one. Tulane faced a struggling team and generally got the job done. Jordan Callahan - fresh off a career-high 27 point performance - suffered a gruesome looking knee/ankle injury in the first half, but recovered and re-entered the game not long after.

With this win, Tulane is 3-0 at the renovated arena and will return to Uptown again next week when they play Southern University.

Tulane will travel to Nebraska next as part of the "Joe Cipriano Nebraska Classic."
