Tulane vs. UTEP: Prep Sheet

Green Wave fans. Your 12-3 Tulane men's basketball team takes on its first conference rival tomorrow: UTEP. If you haven't seen my posts on Twitter or Facebook (meaning you aren't following FTW yet and totally should), the game is at 7 PM on Wednesday at the Devlin Fieldhouse.

Tulane hasn't lost a game yet in its rebranded home gym. Let's keep that going. If you live in NOLA or have returned from break, be there. Here's why:

1. UTEP is going to be the toughest home game Tulane will play. They are a top 100 RPI team, and they played the 22nd hardest schedule so far. They have been tested, and they can stick with anybody (they almost upset UNLV a couple of weeks back).

2. Tulane's on a roll. Alabama was a monster road win. UTEP's own fan blog puts Tulane as the top team in the conference right now. To keep that momentum going, Tulane needs to take care of UTEP.

3. This should be the biggest home crowd since Georgia Tech last year. So if you have the chance to see a rare solidly attended Tulane event, why would you miss that.
