Dear Tulane: More Study Spaces Please

There is no basketball news to report on, so I guess the misdirected ranting can begin now. Word on the street is that Howard-Tilton Library is in store for a renovation (as soon as FEMA money comes through...big surprise there).

Assuming that is the case, it would be fantastic if the library could be outfitted with more than a handful of outlets. Let's be real here. It doesn't look like the computer trend is going to take a dramatic turn any time soon. Students need to plug in.

Admittedly, there aren't even many empty spaces for students who don't need a computer. However, helping out computer-users would definitely alleviate the problem of forcing students to scan every floor in a futile effort to swoop in on an ideal spot.

That's all for now. If anyone has found a secret spot to work, please share.

Even outside of the library, the options are pretty bleak. PJ's is pretty frightening. The LBC suffers from a similar lack of outlets and desk space. The library seems to make the most sense for a very serious renovation in the near future.
