Times-Pic Profiles Jordan Callahan as Rising Tulane Basketball Star

The Times-Picayune ran a really cool feature today profiling Tulane's sophomore guard Jordan Callahan as one of the team's rising leaders.

For good reason. The Georgia-native has definitely made his presence known this season on and off the court for the Wave.

In his first four games, he has been a key contributor with an average of 13.5 points per game. More importantly, Callahan is a playmaker.

Behind a fast-paced offense, he has shown his skill for finding the open man. For that reason, he's leading the Wave in assists this season and doing just about everything an effective guard needs to do.

The Wave will face off against the Colonels of Nicholls State at 4 PM today. The game isn't televised unfortunately, but I will post a review after the game. Check out our preview piece here.
